Rufina Farm
The Rufina farm, located in the province of Florence, was bought by Antonio Grati in 1954 and covers about 85 hectares.
5 hectares are planted with vineyards, including 4 hectares of specialised vineyards with Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia del Chianti and Colorino. Recently, new Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot plants have been added.
The climate here is particularly mild and non-humid. The predominantly sandy soil and southern exposure yield excellent ripeness of the grapes and good alcohol content of the wines with substantially reduced production in drier years.
Regello Farm
The historic Reggello farm complex, an ancient settlement of the Callombrosani monks, later belonged to the Marchesa Cacciaguerra and the Prulli factory until it was bought by the Grati family in 1928.
With an area of about 100 hectares, Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano Toscano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes are cultivated.
The south-east exposure and the characteristics of the clay-resinous soil help grape production and maturation, with a constant qualitative and quantitative yield over the years.
